  • Time required: 30 -40 minutes
  • Description: Students create ordered pairs, graph depreciating car values, calculate rates of depreciation, then learn rate = slope
  • Implementation notes (follow up/discussion questions, pedagogical recommendations, etc.): Students have a hard time following directions on this so it is a good idea to show them a sketch of what the graph should look like.  Maybe even show them the first set of ordered pairs..
